Sketchbook design Coffeebased [2020]

In 2020, I took part in a design competition at the Graphic Lyceum Rotterdam, collaborating with Coffeebased. My contribution included illustrating two endpapers on recycled paper, designing a cover engraving for a sketchbook with a hardcover made from coffee grounds, and creating an illustrated flap over the cover. Centered around the theme of coffee, the project seamlessly combined sustainability with creativity. Originally planned as a run of 1200 copies, the overwhelming positive response led to an additional 300 being produced, totaling 1500.
